Assembly Specialty Products was founded in 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio by engineer Erno Nagy. Fabricated wire rope assemblies and fittings were provided to serve rigging shops, hoist manufacturers and custom fabricators. Today Attila Nagy is leading the company to greater capability through state-of-art machining and manufacturing processes.

- Hundreds of custom dies, designed and produced in house by our engineering and machining team
- 3 proof testing beds
- Automated wire rope cut to length, taper welder, and fuse cutting machines
- 4 Landis style dual head tangential threading machines
- The finest American made and imported wire rope and steel, traceable to mill certification on purchased and fabricated products

Attila Nagy, President & CEO
Attila grew up in the family business. As a young man he worked for his father the founder of Assembly Specialty. Upon completing his mechanical engineering degree at Case Western Reserve University, he worked as a design engineer and manager. His 40 years of hands-on experience has encompassed all aspects of our business and the wire rope industry, which ultimately led to his current role as President and Chief Engineer. Under Attila’s leadership the company has taken significant strides to implement the latest technology, while maintaining a personal touch. His father instilled quality, service, and commitment, we proudly continue that tradition today.
